MediaPerformer is a media player suitable for all popular video and audio files (including ISO files). The program’s interface is very friendly, so that I could easily find all the controls needed. The program provides an abounding library of movie trailers which can be accessed through a 3D interface which is very interesting to work with. I find useful that you can make all kinds of changes to the subtitles. If you listen to music with MediaPerformer you will notice that almost everything you need is where it should be. You have specific buttons for Shuffle, Repeat, Delete or Open, common to all similar apps. I must, however, point out that every time you click on the 'Settings' menu, another tab named 'Playback' is opened in the upper part of the screen and when you click on it, you will get an error message. Another, somehow negative, aspect is related to tracks selection. If you use the program to listen to MP3 music, you cannot drag and drop some songs on the list. Instead, you need to right click on the list and select the 'Add' option or use the specific button from the lower part of the screen. Moreover, although the interface looks good, I would have liked to use other skins, but I couldn't find any. It is very interesting that you can adjust the hot-keys as you wish, but actually it does not work to use the keyboard to control the program. I personally couldn't do it. To sum up, MediaPerformer is a common application, with no extraordinary features to place it at the top of media players' list, but which functions quite well for a freeware application.
