MechaniQue Description

While everyone is playing fancy CPU burning games, some people in this world continue to worship the art of interactive fiction, a.k.a. text-adventures. A forgotten genre in gaming. A micro universe that hides some of the world's most beautifully crafted phrases and stories. However, few people know these treasures exist. In another corner of the world wide web, some geeks are enjoying the elegance and beauty of a different breed of programming languages: esoteric programming languages. While nowadays everyone can write a script or program, only the most fanatic ones know the true power lies within the insights offered by esoteric programming languages; languages that can interpret the Bible and the Koran, languages that can be visualised in 3D, or languages that just seem to have a 'life' of their own. This software is an alternative and esoteric (because it uses experimental syntax and language structure / metaphors) programming language for interactive fiction (IF) written in Java.
