What visual programming has done to the software world, the amazing Game Creation System will do to the world of first-person shooters. With it you can use the included models, textures, weapons and other "clipart" to create the Ultimate game, and Max Resistance is a demonstration of its abilities.   Max Resistance was created from scratch by one person in a few short weeks. It is a short demo, a couple of levels both indoor and outdoor, displaying the basic models, textures, visual effects and other important little things. The developers say it just scratches the surface of what can be done, but even this can take your breath away. These levels of visual sophistication, special effects and gameplay usually require an enormous budget and a crew of professionals using the finest of SG graphic workstations - Max Resistance took one enthusiast using his home machine and was ready in a little more than two weeks! This gives some food for thought. Download Max Resistance, have some fun and then think of the changes this can possibly bring...   This demo is free, the Game Creation System is clearly not. But if you REALLY make the next Quake, you can sell it in any way you like - the developers of GCS will not object.
