Mathematics Description

Mathematics is a program designed to help you learn or teach other people about the comprehensive areas of math. It can be easily handled, even by novices. The interface of the tool does not excel in the visual department but Mathematics' layout is easy to navigate through. So, you can read about number systems, conversion and types, compound measures, roots, angles and parallels, triangle ratios and angles, percentages, ratios, fractions, vectors, geometry, circle angles, area, graphics, personal finance and others. Double-clicking a subject under a category brings up a window with explanations, graphical representations, examples and an equation editor. In addition, you can use a search function. Mathematics does not come with extra features, such as configuration settings. For example, you cannot export data to an external file, print information, or copy text. The software application runs on a moderate amount of CPU and system memory, is pretty responsive to keyboard commands and mouse events, has a good response time and worked smoothly during our evaluation. No error dialogs have been displayed and Mathematics did not freeze or crash. On the downside, Mathematics has not been updated for a very long time. But, thanks to its intuitive layout and overall simplicity, this app's features can be seamlessly figured out by users of any level of experience.
