Pros: This a combined application of a calendar, PIM, task manager and a contact manager. This positioned by the publishers as a replacement of outlook except that this does not have a mail client. Whether the user is a self employed person, owner of a SME or even a project manager on a tight schedule the application is organized to be of use to all of these categories of users. Tasks can have a day view where the tasks are displayed against time of the day scale while a view for the complete month also is available. The display is arranged graphically with assigned priority in color. So that on multiple tasks planned in a time slot one is clear what to go after first. The application allows you to add appointments that occur a single time or multiple times in a day, multiple times in a week yet at different times on a day or even monthly (doctor’s visit) and yearly appointments (someone’s birthday). LeaderTask can display a single day at a time. Viewing a single day at a time makes it easier to view, move, and edit the tasks for the current day. Tasks too are colored according to the priority so as to be able to decide what to handle when. Notes is another set of useful facilities. You can add notes related to any section of the organizer. The note can not only be text but can be diagram or images too. Using Work Week view makes it easy to see all the tasks and appointments that will happen for the work week. The calendar can also display a week mask that indicates the hours of the day that are work hours. Typically, work-week days are Monday - Friday, but any combination of days can be used. Cons: Lack of e-mail client requires that the contact management will have to be duplicated elsewhere also. Overall: This nicely featured application is fairly easy to use and is rated at 4 stars.
