KigoDVDConverter Description

KigoDVDConverter is a program that you can use to turn DVD videos, AVI, MKV, FLV, RM, MPG and other file types into MPG, AVI and MP4. But it can also extract the audio stream and save it to MP3 and AAC, as well as prepare items for iPod, iPhone and PS3, among other devices. The interface of the program is user-friendly. Video clips can be added to the file list by using either the file browser, tree view or "drag and drop" method. It is possible to encode multiple videos at the same time. The file queue allows you to find out the initial name and format, duration, audio and video properties, along with the status of each item. Once you specify the output directory and file type, you can start the conversion procedure with the default settings. Otherwise, you can configure audio and video preferences when it comes to the codec, size, bit rate, frames per second, scale, sample rate and synchronization. Settings cannot be restored to default. Additionally, you can preview clips in a built-in media player and set KigoDVDConverter to automatically turn off the computer after encoding, as well as remove an item from the list, clear the entire queue or import videos from the online environment. The video processing program quickly finishes a task while using a low amount of system resources. It has a good response time, contains a help file and manages to keep a good image and sound quality in the output videos. We have not come across any problems during our tests. On the downside, you cannot set KigoDVDConverter to turn off the computer after encoding, specify the thread priority or set the tool to run in the background. No recent updates have been made.
