Keys Program is an application which helps you keep the evidence of keys in a company. More than an keys' administration program, this tool makes the employees of a large organization more responsible regarding the objects which are in their possession. In addition, the benefit of this program relies in keeping close track of keys or other unlocking and security objects which are meant to open all sorts of buildings, vehicles, and rooms. The main window is divided into two horizontally oriented parts - one for managing keys and one for staff data. It provides large buttons indicating the tasks they perform. At my first look over the program, I was a little confused regarding the use of each button. For instance, regarding the main window, I couldn't guess from the very start what the "Add new" button does. Is it for saving new keys and their functions, or for adding data about new employees? Then I found out that for adding new keys you go to the top dropdown menu and select "Maintaining keys". Although the name doesn't suggest, this button is both for adding new keys and attaching supplementary functions to the existing ones. Another thing I want to emphasize refers to the searching engine. You can only select last name of an employee as criterion. If you remember the first name, it isn't helpful. Though, I can't argue the fact that the program generates various reports, containing the information you might need. To make things short, in my opinion, Keys Program is a program intended for a small range of users, and this is probably the reason why it is not embellished, neither in functions, nor regarding the interface which is rather dull with its implicit grey color.
