Key Catcher Description

Key Catcher is a lightweight software application whose purpose is to help users monitor the key strokes and mouse clicks. Since this is a portable program, it is important to mention that it doesn’t leave any traces in the Windows Registry. You can copy it on any USB flash drive or other devices, and take it with you whenever you need to perform subtitle synchronization operations on the breeze, without having to go through installation steps. It runs quietly in the system tray until called upon when it reveals only a few dedicated parameters to tinker with. The tool gives you the possibility to enable or disable the monitoring process, and it automatically records your keystrokes and mouse clicks to a plain text file. What’s more, you can open or delete the log, and make the utility record all mouse activity in the Log section. The logs are not deleted automatically from the computer, as they are sent to the Recycle Bin, so you can easily restore them. Since there aren’t many configuration settings, even rookies can master the entire process with just a few clicks. During our testing we have noticed that Key Catcher carries out a task very quickly, and no errors showed up throughout the entire process. It leaves a minimal footprint on system resources, so the overall performance of the computer is not hampered. All things considered, Key Catcher seems to be the right choice in case you are looking for a simple-to-use app that comprises only a few functions for helping you monitor key strokes and mouse clicks.
