The algorithm uses the latest technology in natural language processing to identify key words, phrases, and names. The JumpStart Index Maker opens Microsoft® Word™ documents using your installed version of Microsoft® Office™. It then breaks apart the document PaGE by page and identifies key words, phrases, and names within the page. The end result is TAB delimited file containing the first pass back-of-book index in a format that is easily imported into popular indexing software such as SKY Index, CINDEX, and MACREX.
