Infothek Personal Database Description

Infothek is an easy to use free-text database. Simply enter any text, and the system will index the words in the text for quick retrieval. The database can then be searched by entering up to three keywords. Useful Features Often Overlooked These special features of the program are often overlooked: • Internet website and email addresses can be hyperlinked, so that you can simply click on them to activate. • File names can also be activated, so that you can open any file directly simply by selecting and clicking on the file name in the Search Results window. The contents of linked text files can be copied to the Clipboard. • For searching, you need only enter the first few leading characters of the keywords.
