ImTOO Ripper Pack Platinum is a software suite that comes packed with the necessary tools for processing media files. It consists of Audio Converter, CD Ripper, DVD Creator, DVD Ripper Platinum and Video Converter Standard. The interface of the program is clean and pretty intuitive. Media files can be imported into the list by using either the file browser, treeview or "drag and drop" method. Batch processing is allowed. In the list you can check out various information about each media file, including name, duration, number of chapters (in case of DVDs), output file type and size, along with status. Once you specify the target format and destination, you can proceed with the encoding job. Moreover, you can configure audio and video settings when it comes to the size, quality, channel mode, sample frequency rate, bit rate, aspect ratio, and others. Furthermore, you can preview clips in a small, built-in media player and trim them (by marking their start and end position, by time or size), create a new output profile, select individual DVD chapters for processing, set post-task actions (e.g. exit program, turn off computer), and others. The media processing software requires a pretty high amount of system resources, has a good response time, quickly finishes a task, includes a brief step-by-step guide and manages to preserve a good image and sound quality.
