ISOBuddy Description

ISOBuddy is a freeware Windows tool developed to convert various virtual CD formats to ISO with minimum configuration options.Clear-cut and user-friendly GUIThe program is one of the easiest to use utilities created for this purpose and the first element that makes this possible is the interface. You are brought to if after a seamless and quick setup process. Especially created to support beginners throughout the conversion process, the main window groups all the features you need for a successful conversion process. In other words, you just have to define the source and the target file and you are ready to go. Supported formats and an incorporated burning room The source file can come in a large number of formats, such as GI, NRG, CDI, MDF, IMG, B5I, B6I, DMG, PDI, BIN and CCD, while the target file can only be an ISO. Items can only be uploaded using a file browser, and batch processing is not supported, both of which are regarded as drawbacks. However, you should know that the program comprises a dedicated tool to burn an image to disc, while a separate feature allows you to erase a rewritable disc on the go. As you can see, there’s nothing too complicated about ISOBuddy, so it’s pretty difficult to get lost in its features. Although it has a help section too, there’s no manual available, but it’s highly unlikely to need one. Performance and conclusion The application works flawlessly on all Windows versions and does not hamper system performance in any way, running on low resources all the time. Which brings us to a rather simple conclusion: ISOBuddy is just a basic tool supposed to convert images from any format to ISO. It’s fast and reliable and, what’s more, it also comprises an effective burning engine to easily burn one of the locally-stored CD images to discs.
