The application can prove useful in setting up Windows Server with Hyper-V for 2008 and 2012 editions, both core and full installations. The range of supported clients includes Windows Vista, 7 and 8, along with 2008 and 2012 server versions. Hyper-V Remote Management Configuration Utility addresses situations when the client and the server are by turn domains and workgroups, providing options for creating local accounts, granting access to users, setting credentials and checking the server-client connection for errors.
