Editor's review: This software helps you build a video player that has a play-list of video clips. Means for selecting each of these is available by scrolling though the playlist of icons representing each clip. A video player with highly customizable HTML/XML driven video list with custom scrolling and coloring effects. The software is compatible with Flash 8 / Flash CS3 / Flash CS4 and above and ActionScript 3.0 You can create a list of categories via XML file. The categories can be chosen through a drop down list on top of the display area while individual clips in each category are list on the right with a thumbnail and description on the right of display area. The list area also has manual scroll control that can be operated through mouse clicks. There’s a auto-play control that plays all the video clips sequentially. The display area has a full screen control that’ll show the selected video full screen. You can customize many aspects of the video list such as list width/height, border color, border size, border transparency, background color, background transparency, cell spacing, cell padding etc. through custom HTML/CSS. External CSS determines text formatting and links. Individual cell/row width/height, background color, background transparency etc. can be customized. The video player can be customized and the scroll bar components and other graphic symbols used. The main XML configuration file path in HTML can be specified with FlashVars also. The video clip description can contain HTML links in the text description and you could jump directly to the video.
