HSRemove Description

HSRemove is a compact tool that intends to help you get rid of the Home Search virus with minimum effort. This pesky virus changes the behavior of your browser and can become extremely annoying when you browse the Internet. If your browser is automatically redirected to suspicious websites your computer might be infected by the Home Search agent. Another symptom is the modification of your homepage or search page without your consent. Unless you want your browser to behave erratically and to open unwanted or potentially dangerous websites, you need to clean your computer as soon as possible. This compact program intends to help you identify the traces left by Home Search and to remove them from your computer. It features a simple interface which only allows you to click one button in order to scan your computer and apply the corrective measures. The process is not very transparent and you have no means to configure the actions that you want to be performed. This utility changes the homepage of your browser every time you use it to scan your computer and provides no information about the deleted registry keys or files. It is no longer supported and can only be used for Windows 2000 and XP systems. Although it seems to be a quick fix for Home Search infections, this tool is obsolete and provides little information about its activity on your system.
