HDD Thermometer Description

HDD Thermometer is a powerful application capable of monitoring your hard drive's temperature levels, as the name implies. It offers support for multiple drives and prevents overheating and data loss, catering to advanced users. This scenario occurs more than usual at laptops. After a brief and uneventful setup procedure, HDD Thermometer creates an icon in the system tray area that you can double-click to set up configuration parameters. When it comes to all hard disks, you can set the app to take the HDD temperature at a custom time interval, and to show an indicator in the system tray on warnings and critical temperatures. As far as temperature levels go, it is possible to establish the numerical values for the warning and critical status, as well as to customize the icon text and background color. On warning and critical temperature mode, you can view a notification in the system tray, play sound, execute an external application, as well as power off the computer. For each hard disk recognized by HDD Thermometer you can enable temperature monitoring and use the common settings that were previously defined. Other options of the program let you log temperature changes, and switch to a different UI language. HDD Thermometer barely uses CPU and RAM, thus it doesn't decrease overall performance or interrupt user activity (without reason). It has a good response time and works smoothly.
