GHOTI Description

Whether you're a layperson or a PhD, you'll love GHOTI, a screensaver which simulates an evolving fish tank. GHOTI (pronounced "fish") can be enjoyed just the way it is, as colorful and beautiful fishes diversify on your screen. Or, you can press some keys and examine and modify a large set of fish characteristics. GHOTI was designed as a fish tank simulator. You can even share your fishes with friends. GHOTI is also flexible. You can have as much or as little variety as you wish, to the extremes of maintaining one pure bred species or a virtual ecosystem. You've never seen a screensaver quite like GHOTI! Some screensavers limit you to two or three fish at a time for performance reasons, but GHOTI uses fewer system resources, allowing over a dozen fish on faster machines. GHOTI even has the capability to produce an output file of fish vision systems that can be used with CVA (just copy-paste them into your animals.dat file). Limitations: ￭ 200-hour evaluation
