Here is the official description for GFL SDK for Linux: GFL SDK is a free Library (used by XnView) for developers who would like to support graphics image formats easily. The library exists in 2 versions. The light version supports the most popular formats (PNG, JPEG, ..), and the standard version supports more than 100 formats in reading and 40 in writing ! You can also manipulate and filter your pictures. The windows version have interface for Delphi & Visual Basic. It has the features : -Import about 100 graphic file formats -Export about 40 graphic file formats -Support of 10/12/16bits per component -Color mode convert -Lut transforms (brightness, contrast, ...) -Filters (blur, average, ...) -Tools (resize, de-interlace, ...) -Multi-PaGE file creation -JPEG lossless transform -EXIF reading (with or without loading picture) -IPTC reading/writting (with or without loading picture) -And many may other things...
