GFAS Description

GFAS is a comprehensive geotechnical-engineering tool developed for mechanical analysis of soil using finite elements methods. The application is designed in order to perform deformation and stability analysis in geotechnical engineering problems. GFAS features an intuitive interface designed for pre-processing or post-processing and uses the Finite Element Method (FEM). The aforementioned application uses two types of methods for finite element mesh generation namely Block Mesh Generator (structured mesh) and Unstructured Mesh Generator with Delaunay constraint triangulation.
