It supports AVI, GIF, MKV, and MP4 for the output, together with the possibility of extracting the audio stream of your video files and saving it as an MP3 file. You can load any AVI, MPG, MP4, MKV, FLV, 3GP, WEBM, or WMV file and split it easily into as many clips as needed. You can set what the program calls “tags” and use them as cutting points to slice an entire video file in a number of clips. Tags set manually can be updated using the “Edit tag” dialog. Alternatively, you can use this same dialog to tell the program to set a fixed number of tags proportionally throughout the file, or to set a tag every X number of minutes or frames. You can also perform manual selections using your mouse, which you can then revert in order to cut the unselected portions of the file.
