Editor's review: This is a software tool that lets you record audio and help edit it too. This program seems to have some major issues. One of the major irritants could be that the recordings/edited files can only be saved in WAV format. This is supposed to record from microphone and other input devices and save the recordings in one of the many popular formats including WAV, MP3, WMA, OGG, etc. files. However, this version at least saves things only in WAV format. This is not at all expected and the program will make you wait for doing the preview. The edits you can apply visually, include Cut, Copy, Delete Selection, Delete Silence, Paste, Paste From File, Mix, Mix From File, etc. You can place the visual cursor precisely, apply effects and filters but what may cause some stress is that the processing takes some time and you are likely to get garbage at the end of the track. This applies to adding effects such as Amplify, Compressor, Delay, Equalize, Fade In and Fade Out, Flanger, Invert, Normalize, Phaser, Reverb, Reverse, Silence, Shrink, Stretch, Vibrato, etc. The tool can be used to burn disc media. The interface is reasonably well designed. It is full of controls and thus it takes some time to get familiar with. It is completely free to use. But with the issues in the tool it may actually be easier to buy a similar program for a few tens of dollars and not have aggravation at zero dollars. Publisher's description:
