Here is the official description for Frank's Password Generator: Frank's Password Generator is originally a Windows desktop program that I had written with Visual Studio 2010 a couple of years ago. This version -- the WinRT version, 1.0 -- is my very first shot at writing an app for Windows 8. It has been an interesting experience, and while it isn't exactly what I wanted, it's a good starting point that I will continue to update. I Hope that you will find it useful in its current state. I have been working on revising my Windows desktop applications for general release, as well, so you will start seeing more software popping up on this site. As is the case with many of my applications, this software was originally written as a tool for my own personal use. The desktop version integrates with Active Directory, allowing the user to optionally create or modify accounts. I'd like to extend the same functionality to the WinRT version, if possible.
