FrameFun Description

Photos are used to enhance nearly anything that surrounds us. From adds, magazine, or stickers to family portraits, covers and even your desktop background, photos make sure the world is a little more colorful. Various applications give you the possibility to process an image to get it ready. FrameFun is one of them and as the name suggests in can add frames to your photos.Manage multiple images simultaneously The application stores all its features in a pretty compact window. This gives you a glimpse of how your original photo looks like in comparison to the changes you apply. Importing and image file is done through the dedicated file menu. There is no implemented function that allows you to drag desired items over the main window, which is a shame, seeing how it supports batch processing. Before rushing to add a frame to more photos you need to set and save a few configuration settings. You are able create multiple profiles, depending on your needs, having all your photos enhanced with only a few mouse clicks. Limited features to work withOne of the biggest disappointments of the application is that the preview requires you to hit the “Apply” button each time, because it does not update in real time. All enhancements you can apply are found in a shallow toolbar. There are no available presets to choose from and you only work with either a rectangle or oval border, to which you attribute a custom color. Position is centered, with no possibility to emphasize a particular area of a picture. Additionally, you can add a watermark to make photos unique, which can be either text or a different image from your computer. To end with All in all, FrameFun gets the job done well with available features, but content is limited and the overall design leaves a little something to be desired. Shallow contend keep it far from being a professional application, bringing really nothing new on the block. Reviewed by Mircea Dragomir, last updated on June 16th, 2014
