FlyDS Description

FlyDS is a lightweight Windows application that helps users watch and record video and audio streams from various sources (e.g. VCR, TV, DVD, webcam). It boasts a clean and straightforward interface that gives you the possibility to select between various TV and FM channels. FlyDS lets you can alter the levels of brightness, contrast, saturation, and hue, adjust the volume, seek a position in the video stream, switch between a TV and radio mode, and view up to sixteen channels displayed at the same time in a dedicated pane. What’s more, you can view the TV guide or import data from DAT files, enable the Teletext option, generate a list with the current channels which are scanned automatically, change the name of the TV channels and specify their frequency, as well as adjust the balance, treble, and bass. When it comes to recording operations, you can save the video streams to AVI, MPEG, or WMV file format, while the audio ones can be exported to WAV format. It is possible to assign multiple tasks, and make the program shutdown the computer at the end of the job. The video parameters can be configured in terms of frame rate, resolution, cropping and deinterlacing options, video and audio compression, and quality. Plus, the tool is able to automatically take snapshots at a specified time and save them to BMP, GIF, or JPG. Last but not least, FlyDS features a built-in motion detector option and allows you to specify the detection interval, and enable sound notifications or start a recording session when movement is detected. All in all, FlyDS offers a handy set of parameters for helping you watch your favourite TV channels and listen to various FM stations, as well as record them to a file.
