Fitbit Uploader Description

Fitbit Uploader is a small Windows application developed specifically for helping you upload biometrics data to your Fitbit Tracker account. Fitbit Tracker is a wireless-enabled wearable device that is able to measure walked distance, burned calories and activity duration. When you upload data to Fitbit, you get access to a report of your physical activity, setting and tracking goals, as well as food and activity logs. Prior configuration settings When you run the tool for the first time, you are given the possibility to set up a new device or connect to a replacement device. You need to tweak several configuration parameters in order to gain access to the program’s capabilities. The app lets you either provide your Fitbit authentication parameters or sign up for a new account directly from the utility’s configuration panel by entering details about the email address and password. What’s more, you can enter additional information in order to make your Fitbit account personalized, namely height, weight, birthdate, gender and time zone. You can perform a right-click on its icon in order to visit the Fitbit homepage via your default web browser, set up your account, and configure several general parameters. The application gives you the possibility to open Windows services, create logs (which are saved to your computer in an archived format), load system tray icon at startup, prompt for confirmation on exit, log upload data activity for a user-defined number of days, as well as tweak proxy settings by specifying the host and port number.
