Glary Undelete is a data recovery tool that supports a wide variety of file systems and provides a very clean GUI to interact with its users. The well thought-out look is divided into multiple panels to better allow you to manage recoverable files. Basically, Glary Undelete can scan any folder on your computer and look for items to be recovered, but it can also work with removable devices too, be they memory cards or USB Flash drives. What's more, it supports FAT, FAT16, FAT32, NTFS, NTFS5 and NTFS + EFS file systems, so you shouldn't encounter too many problems with it. Once the recovery process comes to an end, the main window shows the name of each found file, along with recovery state, original path, size, type and last modified. A preview panel is also available, which can come in very handy when trying to recover photos. Results can be filtered using a dedicated tool created in this regard, but there are some things you should know when it comes to the recovery state. If Glary Undelete says the recovery state is very good, then the file can be completely recovered, while a medium rating means that only 51 percent to 90 percent of the file can be recovered. If it's “overwritten”, then Glary Undelete can't do anything about it. The recovery engine is indeed effective, but be ready to spend a lot of time searching for the files you want to be restored. Glary Undelete works slowly, but the good thing is that it doesn't hamper system performance. All things considered, Glary Undelete is an excellent software recovery tool that can help you in many difficult moments.
