You would be able to specify trustful applications that can access protected files with full access permissions. It is easy to use. The interface is simple for most users; they will be able to master the interface fairly quickly. Besides providing access rights, it will help you make files invisible so that documents cannot be stolen by others. You browse the file system and pick up the files whose access rights are to be changed. Setting the access rights is as simple as clicking the check boxes provided for open, read, write, modify and hide rights. You can a list of files for which rights have been set for verification. Files hidden cannot be seen by any user. You would see it only for a limited time when you want to use it. The hidden protection works for virus protection too. If some Trojan or hacker wanted to copy these files, access will be denied. Even the Windows would not be able to find the file. If you wanted to protect some content such as some work you have done on Photoshop files, they can be hidden from everyone else. The resident software will be able to access the files for the specific open, read, write, etc. allowed by the file interceptor.
