Far Cry is a first person shooter that changed the role forever. This is just my humble opinion, of course. In the game, you play as Jack Carver. He is hired to sail a woman somewhere in the pacific, but suddenly, his ship is attacked and he washes ashore on a tropical island. He lost the woman he was "transporting," so the goal of the game then is to find her and figure out what is going on. This game has astonishing graphics for the time it was released but its awesomeness lies in the fact that the single player story is so complete and fun. Far Cry is one of the first games that allowed you to explore an open space freely enough. You can interact with almost everything and destroy it all, too. The user controls are really easy to use and that helps when you want to roam around in search of the solution to your problems. There are plenty of weapons to chose from and the people who shot you has a great arsenal too. So, Far Cry promises to be a game full with action and shootings that will entertain you for a while.
