FTP Disk Description

FTP Disk is an FTP (file transfer protocol) client that was designed for webmasters. In other words, it is a client that is very useful for developers who need to frequently upload data to one or many FTP servers. Thus, it lets you create as many servers as you want in its main window, and you can assign different paths to each of them. This way, when you want to transfer files to the root directory on your server, you can drag the files to that server, and, if you also want to add files to a second folder at the same time, and you can do that. All of your saved servers will be displayed on the left pane, and your computers file system will be shown on the right one. You can simply drag and drop files from the right pane or from an Explorer window to start a transfer. However, you have to manually connect to a server before you can transfer data. It would be great if you could just drag a file to the name of a server and have the application automatically connect to it and initiate the transfer. FTP Disk also comes with the basic feature set that you would find in many other FTP clients, like a built-in text editor, queueing system, logs, etc. With the text editor, you can change your HTML files on the fly and save the changes without the need to use an external editor, which can be a timesaver for little modifications to your web pages.
