Enchanting New Mexico Screensaver Vol. I Description

This screensaver showcases twenty-five high resolution, full color images of the enchanting state of New Mexico in December and January. All of the source photographs are original work, no stock photos! The images are bright colorful examples of the breath taking beauty of the mountain vistas and scenic high deserts, as well as the diverse history that is New Mexico. If you've never been there, or have and wish to relive the experience, you can do so now from your computer.New Mexico is a pretty place Most people think of New Mexico as a dry, barren wasteland. It's very difficult to appreciate the beauty of the harsh desert when you consider that to be classified a desert an area must receive less than 10 inches of annual rainfall. Further, it is easy to think of the dangers of living in such a place as a fierce boundary to the limits of human tolerance. With unscalable mountains topped with mystical cities in the clouds, large wasted areas populated by mysterious dark-skinned dwellers, and cities made of silver, New Mexico is a very pretty place. New Mexico has trees Unlike other deserts, New Mexico's deserts are home to several large forests, including the Lincoln National Forest. From any ghost town in the state you can travel for a maximum of 30 minutes to reach the beautiful peaks that make up the southernmost point of the fabled Rocky Mountains. In our great history, pioneers once traveled this land in wagons and on horseback, and later by railroad, to settle this land and make its treacherous cliffs accessible. Now, in our modern wilderness, we can enjoy the beauty of the forests of New Mexico. At the base of the mountains, we are still pioneers rationing water and converting sands to farmland. At the top of the mountains, we are tree dwellers skiing the slopes for fun and pleasure. New Mexico--Captured! Anthony Fancella has traveled the state wide and far and captured this wondrously beautiful and dangerous land in 25 high resolution photographs of New Mexico, covering subjects such as the Ortiz Mountains, Albuquerque's Old Town Square, and the Petroglyph National Monument. This screen saver is sure to please even the most discriminating of tastes.
