DVD to ANY Converter is an application with a pretty self-explanatory title - it allows you to encode DVD files to several formats, including 3GP, MP4 and AVI. The interface of the program is plain and simple. You can import a DVD by using the file browser only, because the "drag and drop" method is not supported. In the list you can check out the original name, time segment, duration, progress and output name of each file. All you have to do is specify the output directory and profile, before proceeding with the encoding job. But you can also select one of the predefined filters or make your own audio and video adjustments (e.g. sample frequency rate, mux rate, frame rate, resize, quant matrix), and enable DVD to ANY Converter to automatically turn off the computer or open the output directory after conversion. Furthermore, you can preview clips in a small, built-in media player and take snapshots, or cut videos by marking their start and end position, enable audio and video synchronization and for the tool to overwrite existing files, as well as select the angle, audio track, subtitle and splitting mode (e.g. by chapters, custom size), and others. The DVD processing tool runs on a moderate amount of system resources, has a good response time, quickly finishes a task and manages to keep a very good image and sound quality. We haven't encountered any issues during our tests. However, DVD to ANY Converter doesn't come with a help file, its interface is outdated and the unregistered version has some severe limitations.
