EarthView Description

This program is a wallpaper and screensaver combo that shows high-resolution, animated pictures of the Earth as seen from the space. The program has a control panel which allows you to customize the application according to your tastes. A good feature is that the wallpaper and screensaver preferences are independent of one another, so you can configure each element separately. Besides the standard controls for the screensaver, such as the time of inactivity that must pass before the program can activate, you can choose to display the Earth view to show your country, region or city, and zoom on a given area. The program includes a comprehensive list of cities to choose from. You can choose to set the animation to show a given path, for example, around the Equator, or from one pole to another. The program also allows you to configure even the smallest details, such as the type of clouds you want to show, as well as their density, opacity, shadow, and so on. In general, it is a good and well-made program, and its only disadvantage is that its cost is not very affordable, considering that there are some free animated wallpapers and screensavers. The demo version of the program is fully functional and works for 30 days. If you like the program and intend to keep using it, then you will need to purchase a license.
