Here is the official description for EVPdemo: Edit By This program was made to simplify and accelerate the process of the creation of EVP demo tapes or CDs, which is usually very time-consuming if you do it manually. You can create demo files which can contain any number of EVP examples. The EVP examples can be recorded newly, or you can add EVP examples to a Demo, which are already existing. Each EVP example can be provided with a label, a written note, and a spoken comment. The sections which make up both the actual voice and the voice plus its acoustical environment can be determined with the help of a simple Wave Editor. Finally you can start an automatical Playback of the entire demo, including all or only the marked EVP examples. During playback, each EVP example is announced by a sequential number (e.g. "Example No. 9"), followed by the spoken comment; next the voice is played a predefined number of times, and finally the voice plus its acoustical surrounding is played. This automatically running demo can be recorded e.g. on audio cassette or MiniDisc, or you can let the program generate files for a CD compilation which can be used by CD burning software (like e.g. Nero Burning Rom) to create an audio CD.
