Drive Cloner Rx Description

Drive Cloner Rx is a program that will allow you to create an image of your hard drive. This way you will be able to recover your information should you lose your drive contents due to a hardware malfunction or a virus. The program will detect the internal hard drives connected in your system, though it will not detect or backup any removable drive. You can use Drive Cloner's wizard to backup your desired hard drive onto another drive, which can be a removable one. Once you have chosen the destination directory, you can start the process. Drive Cloner will create a huge file that will contain the full content of your disk, though the contents will be compressed to take up less space on disk. Once created, this image can be validated, in order to ensure you that everything is correct. If you need to recover the image, you can specify a virtual drive as the destination drive - you do not need to recover the entire image on a hard drive. You can get rid of those virtual drives when you do not need them anymore, using the Unplug button. The program allows you to schedule periodic backups.
