DoremiSoft AVI to 3GP Converter is a free video converter. It can be used to convert AVI files to 3GP files. As you can see, the video format support for this tool is quite limited, but since it is a free tool and someone worked hard to create it, there's no room for complaints. The application has a very plain design. There is a main window where you select the video file that you want to convert, and the path and name of the output file. There are two fields at the bottom of the screen where you are supposed to select a format, but since there is only one supported output format, you better don't even bother looking down there. In my testing, I found that video quality was preserved quite well. The video looked every bit as good as the source file. The audio, however, was a whole different thing. I tried 3 different AVI files, and I couldn't get audio for any of them. Since there are no settings that I can change, I am assuming that there must be something in my files that this application can't convert. I didn't have problems with other converters, though. There is a problem with DoremiSoft converters when you have more than one installed on your system at the same time.
