DVDRecode DVD Copy is an application with a pretty self-explanatory title - it allows you to backup your DVDs. The tool can be easily used by novices. This is a portable software, so installing DVDRecode DVD Copy is not necessary. It means that you can place the tool on an external device (like a USB flash drive), plug it into any computer and directly run its executable file. What's more important is the fact that your Windows registry items will not be changed. The interface of DVDRecode DVD Copy is based on a standard window in which you can import a DVD by using the treeview only, because the "drag and drop" method is not supported. Batch processing is not allowed. In the list you can check out the name, size and status of each file of the respective DVD. All you have to do is select which DVD files you want to copy (e.g. VOB, IFO, BUP), specify the output directory and start the task by pressing the "Copy" button. Plus, you can disable decryption mode. The simplistic software runs on a very low quantity of system resources (which is barely noticeable), takes up a reasonable amount of time to complete a task and manages to keep the original image and sound quality. We haven't come across any technical difficulties during our tests. There is no help file available but that's because DVDRecode DVD Copy is so simple to work with. On the other hand, you cannot configure program settings (e.g. enable DVDRecode DVD Copy to automatically turn off the computer when the task is completed), the interface is outdated, there is no multiple language support and you cannot view elapsed or remaining time during conversion.
