DVD To MP3 Converter is a powerful software tool designed to extract the audio of an entire DVD movie, a certain track, or even a specific portion of a given track, and save it into a high-quality MP3 file. It supports batch conversion, so that you can extract several audio sections from the same DVD at once. In addition, you can set the output audio quality. For starters, the program allows you to load the contents of a DVD disc or folder, or simply select an IFO file. You can then choose the audio stream (language) you want to extract, in case more than one is available. All the titles on your disc or IFO file are automatically listed, showing detailed information about them, such as the file names they will be given when converted into MP3 files, their duration and their expected output size. You can then select only the titles whose audio you actually want to extract. But the most novel feature about this program is probably the "Clip Video" tool. It allows you to select a title and establish a start and an end time, so that you can extract only a portion of that track, as mentioned before. The tool is capable of playing back the title – both audio and video – and set the start and end times very accurately. This program is obviously a part of a more complete application that is capable of extracting both audio and video, but all functions related to video extraction have been disabled in this one. Finally, you can open the Settings window to configure some output audio settings, such as the bit rate, the sampling rate, and the number of channels. Of course, all video-related settings are not available. Back in the main window, you may change the default output directory, and all that rests now is to press the "Rip DVD" button for the process to start. In conclusion, DVD To MP3 Converter is a great tool that performs exactly as it is supposed to, very efficiently and producing high-quality results.
