DBSync for Oracle & MSSQL Description

DBSync for Oracle and MS SQL is a database synchronization tool which performs two-way conversion and synchronization from Oracle databases to MS SQL server and from MS SQL to Oracle. The tool is also applicable for MS SQL database replication to another MS SQL database and is quite adept at copying a Oracle database to another Oracle database. DBSync for Oracle and MS SQL provides the bulk of functional capabilities such as interactive (GUI) mode/command line mode, savable sessions, insert, update and drop synchronization types included, task planner scheduling, data filtering, preverification of possible conversion errors, etc. You can convert and synchronize Oracle with MS SQL or MS SQL with Oracle simply by configuring several options and by making some sync customizations through a Wizard interface or in command line mode. Command line parameters added to a scheduling function enables you to automatically synchronize or convert data regularly without user input and supplementary settings. DBSync for Oracle and MS SQL provides you with the ability to manipulate synchronization preferences on Customization stage exactly according to your needs. Filtering data during conversion allows users to retrieve only specific data for converted tables according to defined filtering criteria. Filters give you more control on the data migration process. Possible synchronization errors can be detected before the conversion process gets started. This application can also identify any errors or potential problems with the database table objects. Main features: Primary keys and Indexes support; Foreign key (relations) support; Insert-synchronization, Update-synchronization and Drop-synchronization available; Database objects (tables, fields, indexes and foreign keys) remapping; Oracle Server version 10.0 and higher support; ODBC Oracle and Oracle client are not required; Unicode support, all possible encoding support; Advanced customization options Sessions support - all your settings can be saved and restored then; Ability to select TCP/IP, PIPE, IPX/SPX communications protocols; `BINARY` conversion support; Skins support; Multilanguage Support; Interactive (GUI) mode / command line mode; Feature to replace symbols in names of tables and fields (which are required not to be used as they are the symbols reserved for MS SQL internal purposes) with a substitute symbol; Automation of the conversion process with built-in scheduler; Data mapping - simple data types' assignment for a destination database to match one data type to its closest equivalent in the target fields; Ability to select table types when copying data to MS SQL;
