The interface of the application is clean and intuitive. Clips can be imported into the list by using the file browser only, because the "drag and drop" method is unsupported. Batch conversion is permitted. All you have to do is establish the destination directory and output format, in order to proceed with the encoding process. In addition, you can preview the clips in a small, built-in media player which resembles an iPod, remove an item from the list, as well as view the current file name, encoded frame number, remaining time and conversion progress during a task. Once the job is completed, you can enable Cucusoft iPod Movie/Video Converter to open the output folder or to launch iTunes in order to play the output tracks. The straightforward program takes up a very high amount of system resources, quickly finishes a task and manages to preserve a very good image and sound quality in the output videos. We haven't come across any issues during our tests, since Cucusoft iPod Movie/Video Converter did not freeze or crash. On the other hand, you don't have the possibility of creating your own output profile by configuring audio and video settings (e.g. aspect ratio, frame rate, sample frequency rate, channels).
