CoP is based on the component method which allows for a complete understanding of the joint behaviour. As a result of that, joints may be easily modified (reinforced, stiffened or optimised) according to the requirements of the users. This usually leads to a more economic structural design as the joints are known to be an important factor as far as the global cost of the structure is concerned. Included are 3 months of free maintenance. After this period it is possible to take a maintenance contract.
