ClipPath Description

ClipPath is a small shell extension designed specifically for helping you copy the file path of a folder or file from your computer to the clipboard. It proves to be particularly useful especially for programmers that need to input the entire file path of a given directory or file in the command-line console, as they may simply copy it to the clipboard and paste it into the target window.Installation processThe tool comes in a lightweight ZIP package which can be deployed on your system with minimal effort. You need to extract the files included in the archive and save them in a preferred location from your computer. The installation process proves to be nothing more than a piece of cake. You only need to install the INI file comprised in the archive by performing a right-click on the INI item and selecting the ‘Install’ option. How it worksAt the end of the installation ClipPath integrates two entries in your context menu implemented specifically for helping you copy the full file path of a file or folder from your system using right-click options. What’s more, the tool gives you the possibility to copy multiple file paths at the same time, and you can also copy the full path to the clipboard in Unix-like format, namely ‘ClipPath (/).’ On the downside, the application hasn’t been updated for a while, so it may cause compatibility issues on newer operating systems.
