CheckOut Description

CheckOut is a Photoshop compatible plug-in which can create a check pattern using two different parts of an image. The filter creates a checkered pattern by selecting two rectangular samples from an existing image. The sliders in the 'Sample 1' and 'Sample 2' sections select position of the two samples which are used to create the pattern. The 'Tile Size' sliders perform as advertised. The 'Tick More than One' boxes produce alternate arrangements of the two selected samples. If you tick the 'One Tile' box a single tile will be rendered on your image. This only works on an image with an Alpha Channel. This function doesn't seem to work with Painter. To save a single tile , select the transparent area around the tile, reverse the selection, copy the tile to the clipboard and then paste it into a new image. Most image programs either allow you to paste straight into a new image or automatically size a new image to the size of whatever is on the clipboard.
