ChainCopy Description

The ChainCopy application was designed to be a conventient utility to copy one or more files, including the folder chain of the source folder, to a new root folder. IOW, if the source files are in C:MyDocsMyFiles and you copy to a root target of C:MyNewDocs then the target files will be in the folder C:MyNewDocsMyDocsMyFiles. Usage: Open the target root folder in explorer and make sure it is the active window. (In the example this would be C:MyNewDocs.) Hit Control-NumberPadPlus hotkey and a File Open Dialog will appear. Browse to the file(s) you wish to Chain Copy and select one or more files. You should get a message box showing the number of files chain copied. The files should be nested inside the folder chain starting at the target root folder that was active when you pressed the hotkey.
