Capcode Description

Capcode was specially developed as an accessible and Open Source navigation tool for sailors for cruising or regatta. Capcode can read NMEA 183 data (instruments, GPS, AIS) and can provide sailors a set of handy tools that can help them with navigation. Main features: Acquire NMEA messages from GPS and other boat instruments Compute true wind, geo wind, polar of the speeds Display raster charts, waypoints, polar in real time, laylines on next waypoint Include a raster chart editor (save a kap) Possibility to extend with your own plugins (tutorial on request)
