COJAC Description

COJAC is a tool performing on-the-fly code instrumentation to help uncover numerical problems with integer (overflows) and floating point (smearing, cancellation, infinity, NaN) arithmetic. COJAC detects overflows and floating points numbers anomalies in Java code lines. You can apply it on your own code to detect vicious bugs that aren't detected by the Java Virtual Machine. This tool is a little command line application, allowing you to launch any Java application with COJAC. See the User Guide for a more detailed description. With COJAC you don't have to modify your source code or even recompile it. All the work is done at runtime and your application is not altered. COJAC is offered (without warranty of course) in the hope it can be useful for educational purposes, as well as in the software industry. Any comment/feedback is welcome!
