Bmk2Fav and Fav2Bmk Description

This package provides two utilities, Bmk2Fav and Fav2Bmk, that will allow you to convert your Netscape bookmarks to Internet Explorer favorites, and vice versa. Do you want to change browser from Netscape to Internet Explorer? Then you might be frustrated that you can't use your bookmarked links, as Netscape uses an HTML file for its bookmarks, whereas Internet Explorer uses files and folders. Bmk2Fav is a utility to convert your bookmark file into IE favorites. Just specify the name of your bookmark file and which favorites subfolder you want the converted bookmarks to appear in. Fav2Bmk is a utility to convert IE favorites into an HTML file. Just specify the name of the HTML file you want. You might also find the program useful if you maintain your own home page with links. It is much easier to insert new links into your pages from an HTML file than from IE favorites. Main features: You can also use the program to convert other HTML files than your bookmarks. However, this requires that the file is formatted in the same way as the bookmark file. The converted bookmark links are sorted alphabetically. This is not much of a feature, really, and the real reason I did it is because it made the programming easier.
