This highly customizable banner rotator is XML driven. You can also use it as a slideshow that uses images in .jpg, .png, .gif formats as also flash files (.swf). the code package is made available in FLA format that opens in flash CS3 and Flash CS4. ActionScript version used is version 3.0. You are going to need flash player version 9 or later to play the banner rotator or slide show. You`ll need basic knowledge of Flash to be able to use the component effectively. There are 18 settings available in the XML file. You use these settings to completely set up and customize the show. The code provided follows the discipline of object oriented programming and thus should be easily modifiable. A text file included in the download package provides complete instructions for how to customize. There is a large number of images that you can use in the show and load them through the XMl. The XML file will also define the banners height and width, target URL hyperlinked into each image etc. You would be able to define the button and the text on the button background and color; normal as well as when moused-over. The transition duration between images can be specified in seconds for each image and included SWF. If you need to create a product showcase or want to show off a set of services or simply want to show off you holiday photographs on your site, this is a tool that fits your needs.
