Backup Modified Files Description

Backup Modified Files is a software utility designed for backing up files in selected folders and sub-folders. The software can be set to back up only files which have changed since the last backup (thus saving time by not copying files unnecessarily). With this program you can create a setup file which defines a particular backup operation. Having done that, you can simply load the setup and with one click of a button you can perform the operation. If you regularly perform a more complex backup then it is possible to define up to 12 setup files (best saved conveniently in a setups folder) and tell the program to perform the backups specified in some or all of them sequentially, without your having to load each setup file separately. This program does not compress backup files. That's because modern backup devices usually have a lot of capacity but also if you want to restore just a file (or a few) you don't have to restore a whole folder just to obtain it, you can simply locate the backup file on the backup device. Backup Modified Files also allows you to delete the files that you have backed up and as a safety measure, the program can overwrite the files before discarding them.
