Avex DVD to Mobile Video Suite is an application with a pretty self-explanatory title - it allows you to convert DVDs to the 3GP format, supported by mobile phones. But it also supports other video extensions, like AVI, ASF, FLV, RM and WMV. The interface of the tool is plain and intuitive. Video files can be imported into the list via the file browser or treeview only, since the "drag and drop" method is not supported. Batch processing is not allowed. So, once you specify the output profile and destination, you can proceed with the encoding job. Additionally, you can change audio and video settings when it comes to the codec, size, bit rate, frames per second, sample frequency rate, channels, and others. Furthermore, you can select individual DVD chapters for processing, create a new output profile, go to the DVD menu, trim videos by marking the start and end time, enable Avex DVD to Mobile Video Suite to automatically turn off the computer once the task is completed and to disable the screensaver when recording, and more. The DVD processing tool requires a moderate-to-high amount of system resources, quickly finishes a task and manages to keep a fair image and sound quality. We haven't come across any major issues during our tests. Unfortunately, we weren't able to access the help file (clicking the option displayed an error) and the interface needs some upgrades, since it's outdated.
