It sports a clean and intuitive layout that allows you to set up the dedicated parameters with minimum effort. The program displays the current time in the primary panel, and gives you the possibility to specify the time when it automatically disconnects your Internet connection. Additionally, you can make the utility shutdown the computer at the end of the task. As soon as you set up the time, Auto Net Disconnector starts counting down the time until it carries out the operation. What’s more, you are allowed to start or stop the process with just a few clicks. This unobtrusive tool, which runs quietly in the system tray until called upon, can be used for restricting other users access to the Internet. On the downside, it doesn’t let you set up passwords for encrypting the programs’ functions, open a document or run a file before accomplishing the task, and show popup or sound notifications. Since it doesn’t require much computer knowledge to set up the dedicated parameters, even rookies can master the entire process with minimum effort. During our testing we have noticed that Auto Net Disconnector carries out a task quickly, and no errors showed up throughout the entire process. As it would be expected from such a small utility, it remains light on system resources, so it doesn’t burden the overall performance of the computer, nor interfere with other programs’ functionality.
